Our goal here at Your Paper Quest is to better connect self-published and independent authors with curious readers, while providing a unique and rewarding reading experience.
We know that choosing your next read can be daunting, let alone trying to navigate the indie realm! There are so many stories out there, which is why we work hard to curate the very best ones and deliver them straight to your door.
Through our curation, we aim to put an end to the stigma surrounding self-published writing, and through our community work to ensure that no outstanding story goes untold or unread. We want to show the world that indie stories not only matter, but are necessary! We want to spotlight those voices that might otherwise go unheard, and remind the world that amazing stories can be found anywhere, not just on best sellers lists.
We all deserve the best, why not continue this trend in ensuring that we read the best too?

I’m Ryan, and although I never read much growing up, I absolutely fell in love with it as I got older. The timeless stories, the infinite possibilities.
Your Paper Quest has been a passion project of mine ever since I created Ryanspaperadventures, an Instagram account borne out of my desire to document my reading.
From there I had the fortune of meeting countless authors, while better understanding the types of books that readers enjoyed within the community. This became my inspiration for Your Paper Quest: The desire to help these self-published authors gain more exposure, while helping readers broaden their bookshelves. You belong, and I want to wholeheartedly thank you for supporting Your Paper Quest and helping make this dream become a reality. We can’t wait to continue this journey and uncover more hidden treasures, especially with you by our side.

I’m Steve, and I’ve been writing books since I could hold a pencil. A long journey through self-publishing has brought me into the world of indie authors, and opened up a world of fantastic stories that deserve to be shared.
My part in Your Paper Quest is to find the rare diamonds that elude the mainstream, which involves reading through an inordinate amount of books. It is immensely satisfying to pull the gems out of the mire and hold them up to the sun, and championing the self-published community is a task I take with great enthusiasm.
Great books need great readers, and our job is to bring them together.

I’m Joshua, and the best way to introduce myself is much more a reader than a writer! I only opened up to the world of possibilities that self-publishing offers recently, I came across Your Paper Quest and the great value it offers to supporting indie authors.
My role in the team started when I reached out to Ryan to search for an opportunity to get involved in such a tremendous project. During my time, I’ve been learning more about the creative process and have been involved in various other aspects of YPQ from social media, video production, book clubs, and pretty much anyway I can support Ryan and Steve’s very fun ideas!
The enthusiasm surrounding YPQ is truly exciting, and I can’t wait to see the adventures that await us!
